Plan for each grade

    • To accommodate MCAS testing, we will excuse a wide variety of senior absences on Tuesday, March 25th and Wednesday, March 26th.  Some of our MCAS test-takers use extended time and require specialized testing arrangements, and we want to ensure their building needs are available.
    • These days will be recognized as 3C Days for seniors (Co-op, College, Community Service).
    • A parent/guardian/caregiver should call or email the school as usual if a senior is going to be absent on those particular days.  Seniors can work at their co-op placement or at any part-time job with confirmation from their parent/guardian/caregiver.  Seniors can still visit college campuses (if they have any days left with confirmation from the college). Seniors can participate in a community service event (confirmation is required).
    • Otherwise, seniors who come to school can arrive at 11:05 am and will report to the Paul Revere room for independent work. Following lunch, seniors will report to designated classrooms and continue in the Paul Revere Room until the end of the day.
    • We want to devote our attention to our MCAS test-takers, and we want our seniors to use the days toward productive ends. Seniors who decide to attend school on these days should be prepared to work on their portfolios, aspects of the senior project, and other classwork.

Please feel free to contact either Ms. Mixon, Ms. Merola, or Mr. D’Alleva if you have further questions.

    • After Advisory, sophomores should report directly to their testing locations.
    • Each room will have a break with snacks provided at around 10-10:30.
    • The end of “regular” testing is 12pm.
    • At 12:00 pm, ALL sophomores will report to the Student Union for lunch.
    • At 12:30, students who have completed their testing will go to the Main Office to retrieve their cell phones and then report to either the Gymnasium, the Paul Revere Room, or the Library.
    • At 12:30, students who have NOT completed their testing will return to their original testing locations.
