Does Minuteman provide technology for my student?
- Yes. All students will receive a 1:1 laptop on the first day of school.

How do I apply to Minuteman High School?
- You can apply here.
What is the criteria for admission?
- When Minuteman receives more applications than available seats, Minuteman runs a lottery for admission.
- Students may receive additional lottery entries for attendance, discipline, and interest, as according to the Minuteman Admissions Policy.
What are the important application deadlines?
- In-district applicants must complete their application by the first Monday in February.
- Out-of-district applicants must complete their application by March 15th.
When will I know if my student is accepted to Minuteman?
- In-district applications completed by the deadline will receive an admissions decision in March.
- Out-of-district applications completed by the deadline will receive an admissions decision in May.
Is there a tuition fee?
- We are a free, public school.

Can students switch programs after starting one?
- Students interested in switching programs typically do so at the end of freshman year or the beginning of sophomore year. After that, it becomes more challenging as students start to establish themselves in their chosen program and must meet specific hour requirements for certifications. Additionally, some programs may be at capacity, which could limit transfer options.
What percentage of graduates go on to college or enter directly into the workforce?
- From the the Class of 2025 – 73% of our students entered into a 4 or 2 year college, and 25% into the workforce.
What partnerships does Minuteman have with businesses or industries for internships and apprenticeships?
What class levels does your school offer?
- The academic program of study features core and elective courses at four levels: Advanced Placement (AP), Honors, College Prep I, and College Prep II.
- Thanks to our partnership with Middlesex Community College, students can participate in Dual Enrollment courses to earn college credit while in high school. Qualified students may enroll in up to eight Dual Enrollment courses.

Does Minuteman offer late busses?
- We offer 3:30 pm late busses on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday for clubs and after school help.
How does Minuteman foster friendships?
- Minuteman offers clubs, sports, and traditional high school events like dances, prom, pep rallies, and spirit weeks. Students also form strong bonds within their chosen career technical education (CTE) majors, working closely with peers who share similar interests.
How does Minuteman prepare incoming freshman for the transition to high school?
- Our Introduction to the Revolution program is a two-day summer experience designed to help incoming freshmen build friendships, foster community, and become familiar with the school and staff. Through fun bonding games and activities, students start high school feeling confident and connected.
- Incoming students take diagnostic tests in the spring to ensure they are placed in classes that appropriately challenge them while providing the support they need to succeed.
