Minuteman High School will hold its annual Family Showcase open house on Sunday, November 20, from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM at the school, at 758 Marrett Road, Lexington. Please register online if you would like to attend.

The open house is a great way for prospective students (current 7th and 8th grade students) and their families to tour the new state-of-the-art facility, and speak with current students, teachers, and staff members to learn more about the school.

Minuteman High School is a grade 9-12 public high school in Lexington offering high-quality academics, 19 career technical education programs, 14 varsity athletic teams, and 20 student clubs and activities. The Minuteman regional school district’s nine member towns are Acton, Arlington, Bolton, Concord, Dover, Lancaster, Lexington, Needham, and Stow.

Current eighth-grade students who would like to attend Minuteman in the 2023-24 school year – and reside in one of the nine member towns – must complete the application process by February 15 to meet the priority deadline for admission (includes completion of interview and records being received). Applicants who live outside of the nine towns are welcome to apply but are encouraged to explore additional high school options due to high demand. Visit our website for more information.

Minuteman currently offers 19 career technical education (CTE) programs, which are grouped by pathways to encourage learning integration. The CTE programs include Automotive Technology, Electrical Wiring, Plumbing, Programming and Web Development, Multimedia, Engineering, Robotics, Health Assisting, Animal Science, and Biotechnology. You can read the full list here. Many students in grades 11 and 12 work for employers in their field of study through the Cooperative Education Program (Co-Op.)

Minuteman also offers award-winning academic programming, with core content subjects such as English, math, science, and world languages. The academic program features advanced placement, honors, college prep courses, along with a dual-enrollment partnership with Middlesex Community College.

For last several years, about two-thirds of graduates have entered a college or university immediately upon graduation, while about one-third entered the workforce in their field of study -- most often in high-demand, high-paying career paths. Learn more about our students and alumni.
