Summary:

Responsiblfor delivering exceptional service by assisting our customers and prospects by understanding their needs and offering solutions. Also, performs on a day-to-day basis, a variety of transactions to existing and prospective customers. Maintains knowledge of banks products, services and digital technology. The Banking Specialist iflexible to work all hours that the branch is open and closing, including Saturday mornings at either branch. Attends after hours branch training and All Hands meetings.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·          Greeting customerwith a smile, using their name, and thanking them for banking with StonehamBank.

·          Processes variety of customer transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, check cashingissuing of bank checks, money orders, processing mortgage and loan payments, processing nighdeposit and ATM balancing transactions.

·          Documents alworin detail to aiifuturresearch.

·          Adheres to the Bank’s Retail security, handling cash properly and adhering to audit procedures.

·          Performing and determining customers’ needs by suggesting appropriate products and services by referring to the appropriate area: lending, cash management or Stoneham Financial Services.  

·          Is knowledgeable of and participates in sales and performance goals, Tracks open and closed sales for Performance Incentive Plans (PIP).  Meet or exceeds quarterly and yearly sales goals for products and services and referral targets as assigned by Branch Manager / Administrator.

·          Attend staff meetings, sales meetings, training or other sessions as designated or recommended by members or management.

·          Answers basic customer questions about their account(s); checks cleared, current balance, holds on accounts, etc.

·          Assists and educates customers on utilizing digital branch channels (e.g., Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Video Banking, Voice Response, ATM, etc.).

·          Perform other duties as assigned by Bank managementThimaincludactinas a fill-ifor other retail positions when assigned, may be in other branch locations.

·          Adhering to the StonehamBank Standards of Professionalism.

·          Protect the Bank’s data and systems against unauthorized access and cyber threats by operating in accordance with the Bank’s Employee Acceptable Use of Technology Agreement.

·          Keep informed about the Bank’s Compliance and CRA efforts by reading the applicable materials and making special efforts to identify customers’ needs in this area.

·          Participates in Community Events such as volunteering for local schools, neighborhood associations, government, and/or nonprofit organizations which is part of StonehamBank’s Values, “SERVICE”.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements:

Cash handling experience, preferably two years of work experience in a financial service environment, technology savvy with the ability to use and understand both windows and apple tablets. i.e. iPad, Mobile and Surface, knowledge of bank policies and procedures as well as state and federal rules and regulations. Cash handling skills, interpersonal & relationship skills, excellent customer service skills, consultative selling skills, and must be detailed and able to multi-task in a fast-working environment. Experience with COCC preferred but not required.

WATER METER READER - Town of North Andover

General Purpose

Accurately read water meters, perform basic inspections on meters, repair old meters and install new meters, record their consumption, and track data. Performs all other related work as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meter Reading: Reads domestic and industrial water meters and records readings.

  • Inspections: Inspects meters and adjacent pipes/plumbing to determine causes of consumption variations. Checks for leaks, faulty registrations, damaged meters, and irregular connections.

  • Maintenance: Performs manual work in the repair, set-up, and maintenance of water meters for accurate operation. May also install or replace water meters as a secondary function.

  • Emergency Support: Assists service crew when there is a water main or water service break.

Observe animals for general health and overall well being. Collect and record research data and biological specimens in compliance with applicable guidelines and regulations (GLPs, SOPS). Read basic study protocols and extract pertinent information. Review documentation of functions performed as part of quality control requirements. Retrieve and view SOPs using appropriate database. Use applicable GLPs, SOPs, processes and company policies when performing all job functions. Handle, restrain, and provide care for all species of laboratory animals at the site. Perform study preparation activities including collection tube labeling and room setup. Maintain clean work areas (e.g.: laboratory area, primary enclosures, animal exam areas). Receive animals (e.g., general health observation, sexing and identification) of all species, if applicable for the site. Under supervision, perform basic formulation procedures (i.e. simple dilutions, label and dispense).

Qualifications: 

Education:  High school diploma or General Equivalent Degree (G.E.D.). Bachelor’s preferred (B.S) or equivalent in animal or life science or related discipline. Experience:  6 months related experience in animal research and/or husbandry or must have fully satisfied technical and experience requirements for the previous level. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Certification/Licensure:  ALAT preferred. Other:  Ability to handle common laboratory species.  Proficient in basic technical skills and the operation of data collection equipment. Knowledge of guidelines relating to the care of laboratory animals. Basic understanding of study design and protocols.

Perform basic laboratory and record-keeping tasks. Support the functions of the in-life, necropsy and formulation/analytical groups.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Wash and dry glassware and distribute to appropriate locations within the laboratory. Keep glass-washing area clean and organized. May sterilize glassware and other items using an autoclave. Label collection tubes and perform laboratory set-up/clean-up (e.g., dusting, mopping floors, emptying & filling feed jars, etc). Perform basic husbandry duties such as liner changes or filling of feed jars. Verify and record the temperature of assigned refrigerators or freezers. Assist in the archiving of study-specific samples (e.g. back-up formulations, biological liquids or animal tissues). Assist in preparing for animal arrivals. This may include preparing cages (attaching water lines, feed jars, cage tag holders), ensuring sippers work, ensuring cages are appropriate for species being housed and placing cage tags on the holders. Process biological samples (e.g. plasma, serum, whole blood, urine, etc.) for possible analysis. Assist technical personnel with clerical duties (e.g., filing, making copies, cage tags, etc.). Monitor and maintain inventory and stock assigned areas (e.g. PPE Stations, 1st aid boxes). May record observations and measurements for basic lab/research task (e.g. behavioral evaluations). Handle, restrain, and transfer small to medium size animals from one location to another. Operate basic lab equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed. Perform limited troubleshooting and calibration of instruments as appropriate for assigned area. May be responsible for preparing simple lab solutions (e.g., buffers, media/common vehicles, bleach, and eye wash)). May generate reports, master data sheets, forms and hand record data. Perform all tasks in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice Regulations (GLPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Transport, via company vehicles (truck, golf cart or car) supplies to multiple buildings (e.g. test articles, bio-hazard boxes, dry ice, reagents, etc Perform all other related duties as assigned.
