School Committee Members

 

The Minuteman School Committee is comprised of nine members, as of July 1, 2023, appointed by the Moderator/Board of Selectmen of the member town for a three year term. 

Effective July 2025, the school committee officers are:

Three officers are elected annually from the membership to serve for a one year term.

Pam Nourse

Pam believes in providing a wide variety of educational options and embraces the philosophy of finding the right educational model for each student. She has always been dedicated to seeking change that has a positive impact on people’s lives. She has proudly represented Minuteman on its School Committee since 2015, and is active in her local co-housing neighborhood in Acton. Pam began her career as a community organizer in the neighborhoods of Chicago. She has held both executive and volunteer leadership positions in area nonprofit organizations that serve women and girls. Through her work at a therapeutic school and treatment center, she has seen firsthand how a positive educational experience can change a young person’s life.

Sarah Montague

Sarah believes in the power of curriculum that integrates academic and technical learning within a culture that inspires curiosity and care. A member of the Minuteman High School Parent Association board member for three years, she was appointed to the Minuteman School Committee in June 2023. Sarah has been an executive in both for-profit and non-profit organizations. Her background covers brand, marketing, customer community, and change management. She is committed to community service and volunteers with Boston Cares and Arlington Eats.  Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross. She enjoys traveling and hiking in her spare time.

Charlene Cabral

Charlene believes in fair access to education in a manner that befits the individual learner.  She is dedicated to helping others achieve their goals in life.  She was appointed to represent Lancaster on the Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical School District Committee in June of 2023 and as of this writing has not yet been assigned to subcommittees.  Charlene is trilingual and has over 30 years of experience as a practicing attorney in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and approximately 10 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language.  She has served in various capacities on several private and public boards including non-profit organizations including but not limited to the Governor's  Advisory Council on Domestic Violence, the Nashoba Regional School District SEPAC, Luther Burbank Middle School Council, Lancaster Cultural Council as well as volunteer work with her church and school teams throughout the Commonwealth entering into moot court competitions.

Alice DeLuca

Alice believes we should try to leave things better than we found them. She began working to improve schools through service for Nashoba Regional (1996-2001), where she served on and led several subcommittees, and then at Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical starting in 2002. A member of the two regional districts’ building committees, she worked with towns to win project approval, and chaired the Nashoba renovation effort. She has been tapped to represent parents on several state advisory committees, including the New Skills for Youth State Team, the Vocational Technical Education Advisory Council to the Massachusetts BESE, and the Carl D. Perkins IV Massachusetts State Plan Consultation Committee. Alice holds an M.Ed. in Special Education, and contributes additional expertise in non-profit and private-sector operations and proposal management. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, a host of artistic and athletic activities, and taking time with her family and pets.
