• Partial Absences: Use decimals (.25, .5, .75, etc.); enter "1" for full days.

• Notes Section: Specify exact absence time (e.g., 7:40-10:00) and coverage needs.


No cutoff for entering absences; same-day and past absences can be submitted anytime through the portal.

You can't edit, but you can cancel and re-enter if needed

• Log all absences into Tyler ASAP so coverage plans may be made in advance.
• For an unexpected last-minute absence, please text/call/email your direct supervisor and your lead if the notice is after 6:30 am on the day of the absence because they have already printed the absentee list for the day.
• As always, you are welcome to reach out to your lead/supervisor as a professional courtesy via text/phone/email to remind them of an upcoming absence.
