Absence Entry Guidelines:
TO ENTER "TYLER ABSENCE MANAGEMENT" CLICK ON THE LOGO TO THE LEFT

- Partial Absences: Use decimals (.25, .5, .75, etc.); enter "1" for full days.
- Notes Section: Specify exact absence time (e.g., 7:40-10:00) and coverage needs.

No cutoff for entering absences; same-day and past absences can be submitted anytime through the portal.

You can't edit, but you can cancel and re-enter if needed

- Log all absences into Tyler ASAP so coverage plans may be made in advance.
- For an unexpected last-minute absence, please text/call/email your direct supervisor and your lead if the notice is after 6:30 am on the day of the absence because they have already printed the absentee list for the day.
- As always, you are welcome to reach out to your lead/supervisor as a professional courtesy via text/phone/email to remind them of an upcoming absence.
Employee Assistance Plan
As of October 2020, Minuteman is using Perspectives LTD for its Employee Assistance Plan, which provides numerous resources and self-help tools to assist employees on a range of issues, including a COVID-19 resource center, physical and mental health, emotional wellbeing, relationships, financial planning, legal information, professional skill-building, and more.
