Girls soccer continued its three-game unbeaten streak with a 2-2 tie versus Lowell Catholic at home on Thursday. Senior co-captain Lili Roth scored both goals for Minuteman. Lili is the team’s leading goal-scorer with seven. Junior Rory Marsden dominated play at midfield and assisted the first goal while senior co-captain Niah Melk-Stephen’s assisted the second goal. The team looks to continue its unbeaten streak on Tuesday at Innovation.
Congratuations to the Varsity Golf team for their epic victory over Greater Lawrence Tech yesterday. Leading the way to its highest point total of the year were captain Matt Cameron, Colin Riley, who posted a career best score, and freshman Logan Drew, who posted the second best score in his very first match. With yesterday's win, the Varsity Golf Team qualified for the MIAA Division 3 State Golf Tournmant, which is the earliest a Minuteman golf team has done so in a season.
