Exploratory Rubric Setup

How to Create the Exploratory Rubric in the Aspen Gradebook

Every section of an exploratory must have the school-wide exploratory rubric when grading.

You can enter the rubric once then import the categories and assignments of Section 1 to the rest of your exploratory sections.

DO NOT TRY TO IMPORT FROM LAST YEAR AND THEN LINK THE SECTIONS.  THAT DOES NOT WORK THIS YEAR AFTER THE UPDATE

  • Go to the GRADEBOOK top tab so you can see your classes. Change your filter to “This year’s classes” if you cannot see the grade 9 or exploratory sections.

    • Average Mode: Total Points
    • Averages grade scale: MM Grade Scale  (formerly Default grade scale.)

THIS HAS TO BE DONE FOR ALL OF YOUR CLASSES.
