Exploratory Rubric Setup
How to Create the Exploratory Rubric in the Aspen Gradebook
Every section of an exploratory must have the school-wide exploratory rubric when grading.
You can enter the rubric once then import the categories and assignments of Section 1 to the rest of your exploratory sections.
DO NOT TRY TO IMPORT FROM LAST YEAR AND THEN LINK THE SECTIONS. THAT DOES NOT WORK THIS YEAR AFTER THE UPDATE
-
Go to the GRADEBOOK top tab so you can see your classes. Change your filter to “This year’s classes” if you cannot see the grade 9 or exploratory sections.

-
Select SECTION -001 and go to the DETAILS subtab.

-
You must change the Average Mode and Averages grade scale.
- Average Mode: Total Points
- Averages grade scale: MM Grade Scale (formerly Default grade scale.)
THIS HAS TO BE DONE FOR ALL OF YOUR CLASSES.
