Dear Members of the Class of 2026 and their Parents/Guardians,

Congratulations!

Minuteman’s Commencement Ceremony on Monday, June 1, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium. Invitations are not required for admittance; they are a memento of the occasion. There is no limit to the number of people each graduate may invite as there is ample seating available at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium. The doors will open at 12:15 p.m. to all guests.

Seniors participating in Commencement MUST report to the Minuteman gym by 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 1st. Transportation will be provided for students from Minuteman to the LMA. There will be one bus returning to Minuteman after the Commencement Ceremony. Seniors leaving vehicles at Minuteman: Please be aware that the gates are locked at 11:00 p.m. Graduates will have lunch here at school prior to departing. Rehearsal will take place at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium.

Please be sure that the graduation gown is pressed and on a hanger when you report to Minuteman at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 1st.

Directions to the Lowell Memorial Auditorium

From Route 495

From Route 3

From Route 3 Southbound, take the Route 495 North exit. While on the exit ramp, and before you get onto 495 North, you will see a ramp for Exit 35C. Take exit 35C. This is before you actually merge onto 495 North. Exit 35C will lead you to the Lowell Connector.
From Route 3 Northbound, take the exit for the Lowell Connector.
Follow the Lowell Connector to the end (Exit 5C).
At the end of the connector, turn left.
Proceed .6 miles to a traffic light at the intersection of Prescott Street.
Turn right onto Prescott Street.
At the first light, turn right onto East Merrimack Street.
The Lowell Memorial Auditorium is ahead on the left.

From Route 93

Take Exit 43/Route 133 West.
Follow Route 133 West for 6.0 miles.
After 6 miles, you will come to a traffic light at the intersection of Route 133 and Nesmith Street (First Church of Christ, Scientist will be on your left).
Turn right onto Nesmith Street.
After 1/10th of a mile, turn left at the first light onto East Merrimack Street.
Lowell Memorial Auditorium will be 1/4 mile down East Merrimack Street on the right.

Davidson Street Parking Lot

This is the primary lot for the LMA

50 Davidson Street

The Davidson Street parking lot is the closest parking area to the Lowell Memorial Auditorium, but is also the smallest of the parking locations. Davidson Street intersects E. Merrimack Street directly across the street from the Lowell Memorial Auditorium. If you are heading West on E. Merrimack Street (with the auditorium on your right), turn left onto Davidson Street just after passing the Lowell Memorial Auditorium. The Davidson Street parking lot will be directly in front of you. If you are traveling East on E. Merrimack Street, Davidson Street is your first right after you pass Middlesex Community College (you will see the auditorium ahead on your left side).

Lower Locks Parking Garage

90 Warren Street

The Lower Locks Parking Garage is located at 90 Warren Street, and is attached to UML Inn and Conference Center. Please note that the directions to the Lowell Memorial Auditorium (above) will differ quite a bit from directions to 90 Warren Street. Please use the 90 Warren Street address in your GPS or your favorite internet mapping site to get the best directions to this garage. Although the driving directions to the Lower Locks Garage are different from the directions to the Lowell Memorial Auditorium, the garage is a very short walk across a footbridge to the Lowell Memorial Auditorium.

Leo A. Roy Parking Facility

100 Market Street

The Leo A. Roy Market Street Parking Garage is located at 100 Market Street. Please note that the directions to the Lowell Memorial Auditorium (above) will differ from directions to 100 Market Street. Please use the 100 Market Street address in your GPS or your favorite internet mapping site to get the best directions to this garage. This garage is about a seven-minute walk from the Lowell Memorial Auditorium. To walk to the Lowell Memorial Auditorium from the Market Street Garage, exit the garage and turn right onto Market Street. Walk to the end of Market Street and turn left onto Central Street. At the end of Central Street, turn right onto Merrimack Street and walk 1/3 of a mile to the Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
