Minuteman Students Place in MA Safe Jobs for Youth Poster Contest
Two Minuteman Design & Visual Communications Sophomores; Ethan Masters and Oliver Leventhal were selected as one of the ten finalists in the MA Safe Jobs for Youth Poster contest. All Massachusetts teens were invited to apply their knowledge about workplace safety and health in the 2019 MA Safe Jobs for Youth Poster Contest sponsored by the Massachusetts Youth Employment and Safety Team (YES Team) and the Massachusetts Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health (MassCOSH). This contest has been successful in the creation of posters that have highlighted the importance of workplace safety and health for teens. Congratulations Oliver and Ethan.
Oliver Leventhal won second place for his poster highlighting that Youth [YOU] have rights.
Ethan Masters won honorable mention for his poster highlighting that Teens get hurt on the job 2X more often than adults.
