Concord: Steve Ledoux
School Committee Bio:
Steve joined the Minuteman School Committee in July 2019 with the strong belief that every community should offer a quality career and technical education option, and a regional vocational technical district is an effective way to create lifelong positive outcomes for students. Steve has extensive experience in municipal government, having served as a Town Manager in various Massachusetts communities for 41 years. He held Town Manager positions in Williamstown, Sudbury, Westford, and most recently, Acton, where he retired in 2018. Since his retirement, in addition to being a member on the Minuteman School Committee, Steve has served as a member of the board of directors for the North Central Massachusetts Chapter of Habitat for Humanity, a board member of the Bud Ackerman Foundation, and a volunteer advocate for the Domestic Violence Service Network. Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree in public administration from Cornell University. He enjoys running, playing blues guitar, and reading in his spare time.
