Minuteman's Pilot Recycling Program will begin on Monday, April 22nd, which is Earth Day! Please look at the screens in the hallways to see where this exciting program will be happening.
This Friday, the GSA+ encourages our school to stand together in commemoration of the annual Day of No Silence. The event serves as an opportunity for LGBTQ+ students and Allies nationwide to spread awareness about the silencing impact of harassment and discrimination. Despite strides towards equality, the community continues to confront challenges, and this is an opportunity to advocate for positive change.
Juniors and Seniors! The Prom Decorating Committee will be meeting after April break on Thursdays, beginning April 25th, to plan and create decorations for this year's Masquerade Prom on May 10th. If you are interested in being a member please let Ms. Copithorne or Erin Bordeau know ASAP. Thanks!
Congratulations goes out to the Minuteman FIRST robotics team for their performance in this year’s season. At the competition at WPI they performed admirably during the eliminations and were chosen to participate in an alliance for the finals with two other teams. The alliance battled on but was eliminated in the 3rd round of the finals. This year's team had participation from many different shops in minuteman that included Carpentry, Programming, Multimedia, Health Assisting, Environmental Science as well as Engineering, Robotics and Automation.
The Guidance Department will be bringing juniors to the National College Fair in Boston on Thursday, May 2nd. The first 40 students who return completed permission slips will be attending. Please see Ms. Mixon for a permission slip. If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Dempsey.
The Minuteman Parent's Association scholarship deadline is Friday, April 26. This is a separate process from the Minuteman Scholarship. You can access the MPA scholarship application on the Minuteman website.
Are you empathetic, energetic, and friendly? Do you want to contribute to creating and maintaining a positive and upbeat school culture? Do you want to make a difference as a mentor to incoming Freshman?
Then you should apply to be a Junior Peer Leader. Open to our CURRENT Sophomore class. Please check your email for interview questions FORM and follow the link and fill out the form. Application deadline is Friday April 12th. Interviews will be scheduled during the week of April 22nd.

Yearbooks are available for preorder for ALL grades, not just seniors! Pre-order your yearbook at http://bit.ly/MMYearbookStore The preorder price of $70.00 is only available until May 1, 2024. After May 1st the price goes up to $85.00.
Our yearbooks will be distributed for Seniors at Senior Night and for all other grades the first week of June (more details to follow.)

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SENIORS - Deadline April 26th: Attention Graduating Seniors! Could you use some assistance to help you with the purchase of necessary career-related tools, materials, or supplies, or help with costs related to post-Minuteman education/training? Have you taken a leadership role to make the school a more inclusive environment or to serve your community? The MPA will be awarding multiple scholarships this spring. These scholarships are available to any graduating senior with needs-based or other special circumstances and who are in good academic standing. To apply for any of the three scholarships, eligible students must submit an online or video application.
MONETARY DONATIONS TO SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SENIORS can be made through Minuteman's Spiritwear link. Every amount helps and every gift matters. Make your donation here.
TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK IS MAY 6-10! Will you lend a hand? There are 4 different ways you can show your support:

3. Write notes of support and thanks that will be displayed on the school-wide monitors here: Staff shout-outs form. This is a really quick one....2 minutes, honestly!
