Welcome Message from School Building Committee Chair
Approach Rendering, KBA 2017
Welcome to the Minuteman School Building Committee website. All the information related to the Minuteman School Building Project may be found here. All information generated prior to May 1, 2017 can be found in our Archive. This includes engineering and technical reports, budget reports, correspondence, legal opinions, and records of meetings accumulated over a period of 8-9 years.
We are now in Module 7, the Construction phase of the MSBA process. We are over a year in construction of our new building on the Lincoln side of the campus. We have less then a year to go with our anticipated occupancy date in June 2019. We will be open to the students by the2019 beginning of the fall school year. For on-going progress reports please use the Building Project Reports site.
The Project Schedule
Our new educational facility is being designed to meet the career and technical education needs of our District as outlined in the Education Program Plan.. We anticipate that Minuteman will open the new building for the academic year beginning in the Fall of 2019.
Starting in the fall of 2019 we will address the Lexington side of the campus. The current old 1970’s school building will be torn down. We anticipate that we will, in partnership, with public / private partnerships that are compatible with our educational purpose, develop an athletic complex and other facilities that will be of benefit to our students and the Minuteman District members.
