Flu Season The best way to prevent seasonal flu is to get vaccinated every year. Everyone 6 months of age and older should get a flu vaccine every year before flu activity begins in their community. CDC recommends getting vaccinated by the end of October, if possible. Please refer to the CDC website for more information. Frequently Asked Flu Questions Immunizations We encourage staff to check with your primary care physician to make sure you are up to date on immunizations. This is especially important for anyone pregnant, of childbearing age, or those who may have weakened immune systems. We also encourage staff to keep a copy of your immunization record in the Health Office. Please note that confidentially of health information is of the utmost importance to us. All health information is kept confidential and secure. Employee Emergency Information Form Please make sure you have an up to date form on file from the HR/Business Office. |
