MINUTEMAN PLAYERS TO PRESENT “BONE CHILLER!”

MINUTEMAN  PLAYERS TO PRESENT “BONE CHILLER!” ON April 4th AND April 5th

How do you follow up the intensity of last year’s piercing courtroom drama, well, if you’re The Minuteman Players you come back with murder and mayhem in a thrilling spring production of Monk Ferris’ play Bone Chiller!

Thirteen of your favorite Players have been collaborating under the direction of Gregory Donovan since January to bring you a whole new set of thrills, chills, and laughter. Join us for the reading of a will, a will like no other.

The Travers family lawyer, Adler Sheridan (senior Aviva Pearlmutter-Bearson, of Arlington), has brought a fine, eclectic group of individuals together to hear the final bequests of the recently departed Josiah Travers. The only living family members, Theodosia Travers (sophomore Lex Hilley, Lexington), her two daughters, Connie (freshman Sam Valencia Agustin, of Arlington) and Kissy (junior Cyrus Dickerson, of Acton), along with Theodosia’s sister (senior Eren Goodwin, of Arlington) are eager to find out what fortune has been left to them.

Questions abound as others begin to arrive for the reading as well. Why have kindergarten teacher Flame Fondue (junior Emma Memont, of Stow), puzzle constructor Jerry Delvin (junior Abby Cluett, of Acton) and his friend Buzzy (junior Alex Overstreet, of Lancaster), and the mysterious Dan Denton (senior Lou Keith, of Lexington) been invited? Come to think of it, why are the family servants, Mauvins (freshman Elan Davenport, of Concord), Peppe (sophomore Derby Fox, of Arlington), and Lucretio (junior, Izzy Ciampa of Arlington) invited - perhaps because it was the cook’s meat cleaver that killed...oops!

Hopefully resident psychic, Zane Van Zok (junior Max Waldrop, of Arlington) will be able to shed some light on matters before the body count rises.

Andrew Bradley has been leading his behind-the-scenes crew in some stellar support work, leaning heavily on Stage Manager Allison Russell, of Acton, Lighting Designer Kade Stevens, of Arlington, and Sound Lead Kori Campbell, of Lexington.  Kudos to Carpentry Instructor Pat Savage and his team of carpentry students for the construction of this year’s set.  Aviva Pearlmutter-Bearson, of Arlington is also the creative mastermind behind this year’s poster design.  For those of you looking to have a howling good time, please join us!
