Minuteman High School Announcements for Thursday, January 20, 2022
Join the Minuteman Parents Association (MPA) virtual meeting TONIGHT, 1/20, at 7pm for a presentation about the Minuteman Advisory Committee structure.  We will hear from Kathleen Bouchard, Director of Career & Technical Education, and Eric Higgins, a Minuteman parent volunteer.  Each CTE has a program advisory committee that includes student, community and parent volunteers, and offer a terrific way for parents to participate in advancing Minuteman excellence.  For more information about the advisory committees, see

Minuteman High School will hold a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Thursday, January 27, from 12:00-6:30 PM at the school, in the Paul Revere Conference Room. If you would like to attend and receive a COVID-19 vaccination  or booster shot, please register through this online link. Students can receive a vaccination shot during the school day and will be excused from class for the duration of the appointment, which should be brief.

Minuteman Seniors! Share your plans for next year with the yearbook Decisions Instagram to get featured on our official social media channels. Check your email for details or scan the MinutemanSeniors2022 QR code on the screens throughout the school.
Do you sing, dance, recite poetry, perform comedy skits, perform magic, or any other talent that you would like to showcase for a chance to be tagged Minuteman’s greatest talent. If so, please let us know if you would be interested in performing in our very own talent showcase here at Minuteman for a night. Scan the QR code on the hallway monitors to express interest.
Students: The Virtual Career Fair is open from Wednesday, January 19th through Tuesday, January 25th. The career fair is open to students of all grades to find employment in part-time, full-time, and co-op job placements. Employers have set up virtual job booths that you can visit any time before Tuesday, January 25th. Many of the employers are Advisory Committee members and know a lot about Minuteman. Thank you to all who participated in the SkillsUSA and Interact Community Service Club project to support the Be Like Brit Foundation on Tuesday. If you were not able to finish your work, please feel free to come and continue your work this Thursday after school in the Early Education and Teaching Classroom. Thank you again for all of your hard work. The project is off to a great start!
Congratulations to the Girls JV Basketball team on their win over Notre Dame. Offense was led by Zoe Callahan accompanied by lock down Defense from Alex Hanselman and Zoya Estabrook.

Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Basketball team with a huge win over Notre Dame. Leading scorer was Natalie Choroszej with an impressive 14 points. Alice Dalton and Annie Brosnan also scored a combined 21 points. The girls are now 4-2 and take on Lynn Tech tomorrow night.
The Stress Management workshop scheduled for afterschool today has been postponed.

Attention winter athletes:  This is a reminder to wear your masks when you are in the building after school.  We want to make sure you stay healthy and make sure we can keep teams playing.  Again, winter athletes please make sure you mask-up when you are in the building after school.
