Summer Programs at Minuteman for Preschoolers Through Adults

Minuteman High School will provide a range of summer programs for preschoolers through adults from July 11-August 12. Online registration is now open. Minuteman High School is located at 758 Marrett Road (Rt. 2A) in Lexington, and is very close to I-95 and Route 2.

  • A high school student academic recovery program with numerous courses will be available July 11-August 5. Open to any high school student, even if they do not attend Minuteman.
  • A middle school enrichment program, with numerous courses in career technical education areas such as auto mechanics, plant science, multimedia, animal science, cosmetology, and early education, will be available July 11-29.
  • A preschool program at Minuteman’s Colonial Children’s Academy will be available from July 11-August 5.

High School Academic Recovery

Open to any student in grades 9-12; they do not need to be current Minuteman students. The academic recovery classes are for students who did not pass their course(s) for the year and/or need additional support in the following academic subjects: Algebra I, Algebra II, Biochemistry, Chemistry/Physics, English, Geometry, History. A Public Speaking/Debate class is open for high school students as well. Courses are offered in 1- or 2-week sessions between July 11 and August 5 in either the morning or afternoon. Middle School Enrichment

The middle school enrichment program is open to any student in grades 6-8 who has an interest in hands-on learning. One-week courses are held from July 11-29 and include veterinary science, auto mechanics, cosmetology, early education, environmental science, multimedia, and public speaking/debate. Free school bus transportation is provided to students living in Minuteman’s nine member towns of Acton, Arlington, Bolton, Concord, Dover, Lancaster, Lexington, Needham, and Stow. Preschool Summer Fun at Minuteman!

Colonial Children’s Academy, the childcare center at Minuteman High School, is offering a summer program for children ages 3-6. Weekly programs run between July 11 and August 5. Hours are 8:30-11:30 AM with an optional lunch until 12:30 PM. The cost is $160 per week or $200 per week with the extra lunch hour. For more information, visit
