minuteman hall of fame 2022
Daniel O`Brien

The Minuteman High School Hall of Fame is continuing to accept nominations through Monday, April 18, 2022. We continue to seek nominations for all categories, including Coach, Athlete, and Athletic Team.

Tickets are now on sale for the event, which is scheduled for Friday, May 20, at 6:00 PM, at  Minuteman High School.

The 2022 Minuteman Hall of Fame Ceremony marks the first time the event will be held in three years due to the pandemic – AND the first time it will be held in the new Minuteman High School building, which opened in the fall of 2019.

The Minuteman Hall of Fame honors alumni and former teachers, staff, or coaches, who have gone above and beyond to exemplify the spirit of Minuteman High School – whether it be in the classroom, on the athletic field, in their community, or in the world of business and industry.

The Hall of Fame Committee is now accepting nominations for 2022 Hall of Fame inductees. The deadline for submission is Monday, April 18, 2022. This year, nominees can be listed under five categories:

  • Distinguished Alumni: Submit here. This category is open to any Minuteman High School alumnus with career achievements that have resulted in a highly qualified, outstanding, or excellent recognition, at least 10 years after graduation from Minuteman.
  • Service: Submit here. Open to any person whose activities and involvement in the Minuteman community have resulted in service qualified as outstanding or excellent. The service must have been provided to the Minuteman community and it could have been done by a school supporter.
  • Coach: Submit here. Open to a coach with a high degree of competency and success. Nominees must have contributed toward promoting sound educational values in their athletes. Coaches are eligible for induction after leaving the coaching position for which they were nominated after attaining the age of 60 years old.
  • Athlete: Submit here. Open to student athletes anytime after their 10-year anniversary of graduating Minuteman. The nominee, through athletic achievement, must have brought distinction and honor to himself or herself, to Minuteman, and to the interscholastic athletic program. The nominee must have participated as a student athlete at Minuteman for at least two years. The nominee must have displayed integrity and be of good character. The nominee may be inducted posthumously.
  • Athletic Team: Submit here. The team’s eligibility is based on the success of the team. Teams are eligible for induction after the 10th anniversary of the graduation of the senior members of the team.
