    Minuteman High School is closed until at least May 4, 2020, along with all schools statewide. Updates for the Minuteman community will be made on minuteman.org/coronavirus.

    ACTON

    Updates from the Town of Acton  

    Updates from Acton-Boxborough Regional School District

    As of Thursday, March 12, 5:00 PM:

    • Acton-Boxborough Regional School District has closed all schools from Friday, March 13-Friday, March 20, as a precaution.
    • There are no presumptive or confirmed cases in Acton or Boxborough. However, in the last 24 hours, there have been an increase in secondary and tertiary contacts reporting possible contact with an individual who may have been tested for the virus.

    As of Wednesday, March 11:

    • There are no known cases in Acton at this time.

    ARLINGTON

    Updates from the Town of Arlington

    Arlington Public Schools Website

    As of Thursday, March 12, 5:00 PM:

    • Arlington Public Schools are closed through at least Friday, March 27.
    • Additionally, the Arlington Public Library, Arlington Recreation Department, Arlington Youth Counseling Center (AYCC) and Arlington Senior Center will be closed and all town meetings will be canceled at least through March 27.
    • The town has also decided to suspend most nonessential town services and cancel board and committee meetings until further notice.
    • The Town is also now advising its residents to practice social distancing and avoid group activities and events.

    As of Wednesday, March 11:

    • All Arlington’s public school and town buildings are now open after extensive cleaning has taken place and continues to take place.
    • An Arlington resident and their elementary-aged child are continuing to self-quarantine after being exposed to coronavirus at the Biogen professional conference, where most of the state’s cases are stemming from.
    • There is no known link between the Arlington case and Minuteman High School.

    BELMONT

    Updates from the Town of Belmont

    Updates from Belmont Public Schools

    As of Thursday, March 12, 5:00 PM:

    • Belmont Public Schools are closed through Friday, March 27.
    • A Belmont resident has been identified as having a presumptive case of coronavirus after attending the Biogen conference in Boston last month. The resident is a parent of two children who attend the Chenery Middle School and Belmont High School.
    • The individual and their family are complying with self-quarantine protocol.
    • There is no known link between the Belmont case and Minuteman High School.

    • There are no known cases in Belmont at this time.

    BOLTON

    Town of Bolton Board of Health

    • There are no known cases in Bolton at this time.

    CONCORD

    Updates from the Town of Concord

    Updates from Concord-Carlisle Regional School District


    As of Thursday, March 12, 5:00 PM:

    • Concord-Carlisle Regional School District has closed all schools from Friday, March 13-Friday, March 20.
    • Many municipal public meetings in Concord have been cancelled or postponed.


    As of Wednesday, March 11:

    • There are no known cases in Concord at this time.

    DOVER

    Updates from Dover-Sherborn Regional School District

    As of Thursday, March 12, 5:00 PM:

    • At least one case of presumptive coronavirus has been identified in the Dover-Sherborn Regional School District, according to a letter from Superintendent Andrew Keough. The members of the household will remain in self-quarantine.
    • There is no known link at this time between the Dover-Sherborn case and Minuteman.

    As of Wednesday, March 11:

    • There are no known cases in Dover at this time.
  • LANCASTER

    • There are no known cases in Lancaster at this time.

    LEXINGTON 

    Updates from the Town of Lexington

    Updates from Lexington Public Schools


    As of Thursday, March 12, 5:00 PM:

    • Lexington Public Schools will be closed through at least Friday, March 27.
    • There are three Lexington residents with presumptive cases of the coronavirus. The family member of one of the cases attends the Estabrook Elementary School, but has been under self-quarantine since March 6.
    • There is no known link between the Lexington cases and Minuteman at this time.
    • The Lexington Community Center and Cary Library will be closed to the public through at least Sunday, March 29.
    • The Town of Lexington has cancelled all non-essential public meetings until further notice.


    As of Wednesday, March 11:

    • The Town of Lexington’s school and health officials have scheduled a “COVID-19 Virtual Community Forum” for Thursday, March 12, from 6:00-7:30 PM.
    • There are no known cases in Lexington at this time.

    LINCOLN

    As of Wednesday, March 11:

    • There are no known cases in Lincoln at this time.

    NEEDHAM

    Updates from the Town of Needham

    Updates from Needham Public Schools

    As of Thursday, March 12, 9:00 PM:

    • Needham Public Schools will be closed through Friday, March 27.

    As of Wednesday, March 11:

    • There is one confirmed case in Needham, the town reported late Wednesday afternoon.
    • The resident has been quarantined and does not pose a risk to the public. There is currently no evidence of community spread in Needham and there is no evidence of exposure in town or school buildings.
    • The Town of Needham is canceling several public events and meetings. Click here for more information.
    • There is no known link between the Needham case and Minuteman at this time.

    STOW

    Updates from the Town of Stow

    As of Wednesday, March 11:

    • A teacher at the Center School in Stow has tested positive for coronavirus.
    • 15 students are self-quarantining at home as a result. The parents of these students have opted to quarantine their children out of an abundance of caution.
    • The Center School and all schools in the Nashoba Regional School District are open.
    • There is no known link between the Stow case and Minuteman at this time.

    WATERTOWN 

    Updates from the Town of Watertown

    Updates from Watertown Public Schools


    As of Thursday, March 12, 9:00 PM:

    • Watertown Public Schools will be closed through Friday, March 27.
    • There is one presumptive case of coronavirus in Watertown, which is not connected to Watertown Public Schools.
    • There is no known link between the Watertown case and Minuteman at this time.
    • The Watertown School Committee will hold a meeting to discuss next steps in handling the coronavirus situation on Friday, March 13, at 4:30 PM.
