Minuteman for a Day/Shadowing

  • Minuteman for a Day is Friday, December 7, 2018 and Friday, January 11, 2018.

Famed writer Joseph Campbell wrote, "Follow your bliss, and be not afraid, and doors will open where you did not know they were going to be."

Minuteman is opening its doors of opportunity to help students explore their passion and see if Minuteman is the right choice for high school. Students get to visit one career major, and will be treated as if they were one of our own students.

Space is limited per program, and priority will be given to those who have applied for admission. Priority will also be given to in-district and eligible out-of-district students.

Parents must provide transportation to and from Minuteman.  Please park at the Main Entrance in the front of the building.  To ensure safety, be sure to check-in with Minuteman officials when you drop-off and pick-up your child.  If case of emergency, parents need transportation readily available throughout the day.

The day starts at 7:45 AM and concludes at 1:15 PM. Lunch and snack are provided, but students may bring their own if so desired.

Students will be given materials they need for the day.  Therefore, notebooks, book bags, tablets, or other devices should stay at home.

Stay tuned to the local news media for any weather related delays or closings for Minuteman High School. If the school is closed or has a delay, Minuteman for a Day will be rescheduled for a later date.
