Daily Announcements are posted for one week, Monday through Friday. The current day is posted first followed by previous days in that week.

• A reminder to all those applying to the National Honor Society – Your application forms are due tomorrow.  Please submit completed forms to Ms. Dempsey or Mrs. Marshall by 2:30 today.
• As a friendly reminder, May 14^th through June 4^th is the statewide spring “Click it or Ticket” Campaign.  Please be aware that police will be conducting extra traffic enforcement during this period with special emphasis on seatbelt use.  Please remember to buckle up.  It may just save your life.
• Spring Sports Banquet – June 2^nd at 6:30 p.m. in the café.  All spring athletes and parents invited.  Dinner will be served, donated by the MPA.  Thank you MPA!!
• The Junior Prom tonight!!  Thanks to all staff who offered to chaperone at what promises to be a wonderful evening!
• Don’t forgot!  Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m., the varsity softball team will be defending their home turf against either Madison Park High or Lady of Nazareth. Come on down, bring your family!!  It is supposed to be a great day and it will definately be a great game.  Come out and show some school spirit and support the girls!  Good luck team.
• Sports busses at 6:00-6:15 have ended for the remainder of the school  year.  The 3:30 late busses on Tuesdays and Thursdays will be available as usual through Tuesday, June 17^th.
• Congratulations to the following Walk for Hunger participants!  Jon Franco Barretto had the most pledges.  Juanita Estrada has the highest pledge, and Carina Ortiz collected the most money!  The above students can pick up their gift certificates in the library today.  Thank you all for your commitment to community service.  We thank you and congratulate you!

• Congratulations to Ivy Smith from the Class of 2010 for being selected as Minuteman’s finalist for the Governor’s Youth Council.  If selected by the Governor’s office, Ivy will be among 28 students statewide to work with the Governor’s  office in a number of important areas affecting young people.  Again, congratulations Ivy.
• Congratulations to the recently elected DECA officers for the 2008-2009 school year:  President: Michelle Pierre;  Vice-President:  Merrissa Shock; Secretary: Lori Connors; Treasurer:  Daequan Harris; Parlimentarian: Joanne Cobuzzi.  Good luck in leading this marketing organization.
