| History and Social Studies Biography Resource Center + Marquis Who's Who® Integrates Thomson Gale biographies with full-text magazine articles, images, and website links. Search for current or historic people by name, occupation, nationality, ethnicity, birth/death dates and places, or gender, or by keyword and full text. The optional Marquis Who's Who® module provides quick reference information on over 1 million additional people whose entries have appeared in more than 20 Marquis sources published from 1985 to the present. Gale's Student Resource Center A wide-range of full-text documents from a variety of sources including magazines and newspapers, primary source documents, timelines, biographies, essays, and speeches. Gale Virtual Reference Library Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedia and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. These reference materials once were accessible only in a library, but now you can access them online from the library or remotely 24/7. Because each library creates its own eBook collection, the content you see may vary if you use the database at different libraries (your school, your public library, or your office). Points of View Reference Center A full text database that provides a series of articles, essays, images and primary sources presenting multiple sides of over 200 current issues. SIRS Government Reporter A general reference database that contains full-text articles exploring social, scientific, health, historic, economic, business, political, and global issues. Articles are selected from domestic and international newspapers, magazines, journals, and U.S. government publications. Many articles are accompanied by graphics, including charts, maps, diagrams, and illustrations. World Book Online Multimedia, online encyclopedia with Spanish Intermediate Encyclopedia (Enciclopedia Estudiantil Hallazgos) and Research Libraries that focus on US History, Political Science and Law. |
