Grading Policy

Grading Policy
Report cards are issued quarterly. The first marking term is slightly longer than the other three. This allows teachers to get better acquainted with their students and allows students to better understand the standards and requirements of each course. Please refer to the school calendar for specific dates. Progress reports are issued at the mid-point of each marking term and are mailed to the parents.

The following is an explanation of the grading system:
A+ 97-100
A 93-96
A- 90-92
B+ 87-89
B 83-86
B- 80-82
C+ 77-79
C 73-76
C- 70-72
D+ 67-69
D 63-66
D- 60-62
F 59-50
F- 49-0
Each individual department will issue to every student, during the first week of school, the specific criteria used in arriving at a quarterly and final grade.
