School Council
Mission Statement

Our mission, as the Minuteman Regional School Council, is to be a constructive force to work with all constituencies in developing a plan that includes goals and recommendations for implementation to enhance the education of Minuteman Regional High School students vocationally, academically, and socially. As mandated by state law, this process brings together the views and experiences of the students, faculty, staff, parents, and community members to provide support for quality education. We believe we have a quality school and, as an advisory group, we are dedicated to continually improving the teaching, learning, and support services at Minuteman Regional High School in a cost effective manner.

The purpose of the school council is to:

  1. assist and advise the principal in adopting educational goals for the school;
  2. assist and advise the principal in the identification of the educational needs of the students;
  3. assist and advise the principal in the review of the annual school budget; and
  4. assist and advise the principal in the formulation of a school improvement plan.
