The daily schedule allows for a balance of activities. Active and quiet time, large group, small group, and individual space, as well as planned indoor and outdoor activities are all incorporated into the day’s events. Our low child/adult ratio provides optimal supervision; however, children are encouraged to be self-sufficient and to explore and discover without being “smothered” by too much adult intrusion.
In conclusion, we provide an atmosphere where children can spend time alone, with peers, and with adults, promoting an appropriate balance; we offer stimulating activities to encourage a sense of self-worth, social competence, and a love for learning in an environment where each child can grow.
