Biotechnology Career Academy

This is a rigorous, college preparatory program for academically talented, technically oriented students who plan to matriculate to a competitive technical college or institute upon graduation from high school. The focus of the technical component will be in Biotechnology. The curriculum provides opportunities for the development of advanced Biotechnology skills and concepts; it also encourages the development of independent research skills by providing opportunities for immediate application of newly learned knowledge to specialized projects.

Students may enter this program as 9th or 10th graders and may do so after successfully completing a mathematics and English competency exam. Applicants must also have maintained a B average in their previous school work. This program will accept a maximum of 10-15 students per year. Course content all years - Total Quality Management

Articulation Agreements
Presently Minuteman has articulated college credit with Worcester Polytechnic Institute at the bachelor’s degree level in Biotechnology.
