Retailing, Marketing & Management
The fields of retailing, marketing and management cover one of the largest and fastest-growing areas of our modern business community and include the wholesale and retail trades, banking and finance, real estate, advertising, transportation, insurance, the travel business, exporting and importing and all other types of buying and selling. Many people in these fields operate their own businesses.

At Minuteman Regional High School retailing students gain practical experience by operating a gift shop which is open to the public. At a full service branch of the Cambridge Savings Bank located adjacent to the gift shop, retailing students also receive hands-on training in the banking and finance industries.

To succeed in the retailing/marketing /management field a student should enjoy meeting and working with the public, take pride in his or her personal appearance, be able to communicate effectively and be able to get along well with other people. The course
'English for the Entrepreneur' is highly recommended.
