The Minuteman Golf Team returned to the Commonwealth Conference three years ago and immediately left its mark. The team has qualified for the State Tournament all three years, and won the league title in 2004.
Last year the team finished second in the Massachusetts State Vocational Tournament and Mustang captain Pat Casazza recorded the lowest score and won medalist honors.
This season the team returns four letter winners led by four year veteran and captain of this year’s squad, Kyle Isnor. Other returning members include seniors Matt Kelly and Chris Nichols as well as sophomore Joe Dargin. The team is coached by four year coach and Social Studies department chair Mr. Steve Fernandes (x211), assisted by Mr. Greg Donovan (x234), a teacher in the English department.
