The Minuteman Adult Technical Training (MATT) post-graduate program provides an opportunity for adults to receive hands-on job skill training full-time during the school day to prepare them for work or to upgrade their job skills. Post-graduates attend Minuteman five days per week from 7:45 to 2:30 pm, following the school calendar.
There may be no tuition charge, or a small tuition charge, for adults who live in the Minuteman district towns of Acton, Arlington, Belmont, Bolton, Boxborough, Carlisle, Concord, Dover, Lancaster, Lexington, Lincoln, Needham, Stow, Sudbury, Wayland and Weston. Such applicants must begin classes with a duration of a year or longer by November 1st. In-district students may attend several half year programs on a tuition-free basis provided that they begin by the published start dates. Out-of-district students are also eligible for Minuteman's post-graduate programs, but must pay tuition if accepted. Post-graduate applicants must have either a high school diploma or a GED and must be more than 18 years old, and be a U.S. citizen or have a valid Green Card.
An interview is required and admission is on a space available basis for programs with a duration of one year or more. Program lengths vary.
