ADMISSION TO MINUTEMAN

Olisha Sealy, 10th Grade, Wayland
I came to Minuteman Regional High School for the Culinary Arts program.  I knew it would be a good way to start training for a Culinary Arts career. When I graduate, I hope to attend Johnson and Wales.

My favorite thing about Minuteman is the friends I’ve made and the culinary program.

Tyler Faulkner, 10th Grade, Concord
I came to Minuteman because of the rotating schedule.  We are in academics one week, and then do vocational training the following week.  I plan to go to a college that has an HVAC technology degree program.  I run for cross-country at Minuteman, so I will also consider going to a college that offers me a scholarship to run cross-country.

For me, the best part about Minuteman is the HVAC program.

Aaron Gralnik, 10th Grade, Lexington
I came to Minuteman for the Environmental program.  I love being outside and sailing has been a big hobby of mine.  The Environmental program here involves a lot of outside fieldwork, so I knew I would like that.  We go to the beach and other outdoor places.  I am a hands on learner, so this is good way for me to learn.

After Minuteman, I plan to go to Mass Maritime or Maine Maritime to study Marine Transport.

Nick Linton, 10th Grade, Lancaster
I came to Minuteman Regional High School because I wanted to learn a technical skill that would get me a good paying job.  After Minuteman, I plan on working for an electrical company that does residential work.

My favorite part of being a student here is having the alternating academic/program major schedule.

Chris Hansen, 12th Grade, Medford(out-of-district)
I came to Minuteman because I wanted something different than my town’s high school.  I knew I wanted to learn something unique.  My favorite experience here has been going to Kansas City for Skills USA National competition.  I took home a 3rd place award in Robotics, Automation, and Technology.

I plan on apply to several colleges including UMass Lowell and other colleges that offer a Robotics degree program.

Melissa D’Amico, 10th Grade, Ayer (out-of-district)
I heard good things about this school.  My family told me coming here would give me a head start for my future.  I have learned that I have many career options to choose from.

My favorite thing about Minuteman is the balance of academics and program major.  When I graduate, I plan to start my career as a cosmetologist.
